Okay, put the book problem on hold for now. There's something else:

some of you know that i've been playing bass (and doing some vocals) in an as-of-yet unnamed band that will be opening for a ministry that goes to low-income neighborhoods. This Saturday, we're scheduled to play at Fiesta Latina, a big festival that will have about a thousand people. This is where the problem comes in. Our frontman can't make it. [[ ouch ]] and the guy we thought would be frontman can't make it either. Now, our drummer is also good at singing and at guitar, and if he needs to, he can do both. but that leaves us needing a drummer.

Mel and have about four people we're going to be calling who could help us, but we're still in a tight spot. The festival is a week from Saturday, and we need to find someone soon enough for us to practice with them.

The question is, does anybody reading this know a drummer or guitarist (he doesn't have to be able to sing, although if he can't, we'll need a guy who can sing "Kryptonite" by Three Doors Down) who could play with us? I would really appreciate any help here.
