The other day I was reading the back of a bag of raisins as I ate them and I noticed something kind of odd:

the words describing the package as a "stay-fresh pack".

now let me know if i'm wrong, but isn't the point of raisins that they're not fresh? I mean, I can eat fresh raisins whenever my mom bothers to go to the grocery store and buy them -- they're called grapes. fresh raisins, pshaw. cute marketing gimmick. i don't know about you, but i like my raisins as non-grapeish as they come. they fit in your mouth easier that way.

just leave some grapes out on the counter, and i'm sure in a few days, you'll be able to tell which ones are fresh. ;]
