| | The columbus day weekend came up, to be honest, a little bit
disappointing. For some reason, rain came at the worst place at the
worst time. The whole Northweast began to rain on Friday night and I
belived it just stopped now. Yea, that means it bascially rained
excatly during my 44-hour short trip to New York City. Oh man, that was
not good, sounded like the rain followed me, haha. I thought I was once
nicknamed "Sunny" a long long time ago but now I guess people should
call me "Thunderstorms, Wind, Heavy Rain..." instead.
The Saturday lunch was good. As a New Yorker, how come I didn't know
there's a decent Dim-Sum Restaurant in Chinatown. If not the terrorist
threat scared several of us away, the little reunion lunch would have
been perfect. I could notice that KY, Dee, Kitty and Joanne were all
disappointed by that. And I obviously were/ is more than disappointed.
I still do not understand why terrorist threat is such an important
issue, especially when NYPD has been doing a great job protecting
people and many of us traveled 5+ hours all the way from other places
to NYC just because of the reunion. We all are not afriad not that, so
why would you!? Maybe I should apologize to those who did come and
disappoint by the size of the table...
Argh, the third thing is, I wanted to meet Sophie at night too, but
then I had to celebrate my mum's birthday at the same time...So next
time la!!
