Art fair starts today! Flight to DC is tomorrow at 9:45am. When I woke up this morning, I could hear the art fair people on my street trying to set up and get everything ready before it "officially" opens at 10am ... I'm going to go at 5, after work

So Doubletree (where I'm staying in DC) sent me an email yesterday saying I could "e-checkin" and pick what room I want. Sounds cool, right? Well, the first email I got said I wouldn't be able to do that until 36 hours before check-in ... and yesterday it wouldn't work at all, and today is OFFICIALLY less than 36 hours till check-in, but it's STILL not working. By that, I mean that when I sign in, there's no "choose your room" option or anything like that. I emailed Guest Assistance but have not yet heard back from them
. I want a high room w/ a good view of DC, if possible. (our hotel is in Arlington, VA)
