  • The Snow Day (or half day)

This last weekend, we had a little bit of snow hit the ground and stay around for a few hours.  Two of my kids have never seen snow so it was an unusual treat.  My husband is like a kid praying for snow!!  I cannot tell you how many times he probably looked out the window til he finally saw a flurry.

Thimbles brand new grave site in the snow...

They all built a tiny snow man and enjoyed the wet snow until their hands got cold.

Austin was the first to retreat indoors asking for hot chocolate as he was giving up on playing in the cold.  Abby came in soon after, but Carter and his daddy didn't want it to end.

Carter really enjoyed pretending to throw snow balls which really was just him throwing snow off his glove.

What a cool snowman.  I love him.  We had fun playing here too, but, it didn't last long enough.

I agree, the snowman is so cool.  You had much more snow than I thought you had from your conversation with Dad.

Do you want company for a couple of days during the week of March 10th?  That's our [crazy early] spring break.  I think it coinsides with UGA's break.  Anyway, I wanted to go to Florida to see my Grandma, but J.J. can't get away from the store. . .I could do B'ham by myself (with kiddos), just to have a change of scenery for a couple days.  Maybe we could even plan a photo session at the park with the kids.

And if it WOULD work, would you rather we come during the week or on a weekend?  Talk soon, E :)
