We all know designers are quirky characters, consistently seeking the "perfect" inspirations to launch their fashion shows in this demanding, ever-changing world of materialism. Said designers must search out such wonders that no one would usually think of to continue being ahead of the trends.
Take for instance, Louis Vuitton who definitely faced bigger and greater obstacles in finding the perfect muse for this year's Spring Collection as shown below:

These bags are still on the Louis Vuitton website under Show Summer 07, Braided Leather.
Forget paying $1000 for them though, I'll just go and ask my Grandma for one...and have her hit me over the head for insulting her like that. hahaha
However, to answer your questions, i'm not in China or anything like that. I still remain in Tejas, bound by shackles (read: expensive tuition fee) to the horror known as summer school. I sometimes have this stong urge in class to run out screaming "You can't take me alive!!!" But of course my high self-discipline and iron will causes me to remain sitting in those seats, with a semi-glazed expression over my eyes. It's all I can do to keep from drooling in class. The clock is no help. I can swear at least fifteen minutes have passed only to glance upward despairingly to see only 2 minutes and 3 seconds have since occured. Ahh...summertime.
Once class is over though, I go insane with deliriousness and proceed to actually enjoy my summer. It's been pretty fun overall, hanging out with friends doing the normal things friends do whilst in college. It's kinda surprising how many people have remained back here to do research, classes, etc. I just can't believe i'm a freakin' junior already. WHATTTTT.

On a completely random note, in regards to Namewee's rendition of
Negaraku, I don't see what the big deal is. (In short, it's a Chinese guy rapping/singing his rendition of the Malaysian national anthem that's causing some controversy due to his lyrics.) Everyone has their point of view, and this is his...only he's more vocal about it than the average person. He's not calling for a revolution or anything, just pointing the obvious about the corruption there and whatnot. (Don't act like there's no such thing as kopi money!) Plus, he really jazzed up the national anthem. haha- I remember having to sing Negaraku every Monday during perhimpunan for years, standing for an
HOUR under the scorching heat
, and man...it just sounds so much better with a faster pace and drums in the background. Anyway, what i'm getting at is that it's a parody. He's being a type of Eminem without the slurs to Kim. And with all the talk buzzing about him getting arrested...isn't it just affirming oppression with freedom of speech? Oh wait...what freedom of speech?
While on the topic of politics though, it's extremely disturbing what Afghan terrorists have done to the South Korean hostages. It's brutal, inhumane and cowardly to involve those who
volunteered to help as a church mission in the first place, and use them as pawns in a game they never wanted a part of. These people went there to help out, and in return they get abducted and used as gun practice. Who kills a pastor on his birthday!?!?! I really hope everything works out, but it's such a sticky situation that I don't know how those politicians will try to resolve it. Note to self: never be in politics...ever.

holy crap, howdy stranger... literally, stranger, since the whole keep in touch thing seems to be non-existent!! (This is the part where you say, "Oh Michael, I lost your address so I couldn't write you and I've been so busy," and then I go, "I understand, here's my address again:" and then secretly harbor bitter feelings.)
But about my post: I call it verbal diarrhea ... it's one of those things where you don't realize what you said until she's gone and you reminisce on the night... that's kinda what happened.. my friend calls it word vomit. You can relate, no?
p.s.
you need an update.. if u didn't already know this.
