Ladies & Gentleman,
I am the most happiest man in the world. I know, I know...your probably asking why...and the answer is as simple as can be.
You
know how I haven't had a job since I left my previous full time job on
July 5th and as of today, November 16th, I am now employed. I walked in
to the job interview at 9 am expecting another somewhat hard interview.
I shake the guys hand, walk in, sit down. He says, "I don't have your
resume right here in front of me, but I looked over it and I don't see
why your not qualified for the job. So that being said, I would like to
offer the position to you."
I'm sitting in the chair, and my
mouth drops in my mind...like "Woah, did he just do that?" haha. It was
amazing! I accepted and I will work 20 hours a week, Mon-Thurs on
nights. This guy is amazing! He was very friendly and very laid back. I
like my supervising boss already. That was the simplest interview ever!
The position is for where I go to school working as a Receptionist
(Switchboard Operator). I start Monday at 4 p.m. I'm way excited!
To
be honest, last night before I fell asleep, I prayed to God that He
would give me the words to say in the interview, let me know clearly
what job I was supposed to take, and to be laid back and not nervous.
And God did exactly that! God is amazing...thank you...I can't thank
Him enough for the blessings he has given me in the past 4 months since
I left a full time position at home in West Texas, my family, my
church, everything...all just to move to Irving to pursue a 2nd
Bachelor's degree for another field.
I have been blessed more
than I can ever imagine. I give God all the credit and all of my
friends who have prayed for me! Yall are all amazing and I love you all!
I GOT A JOB! WOOHOO!

Thanksgiving - Nov. 22
My 25th Birthday - Nov. 26
