4,000
The number of United States military personnel killed in Iraq since the US-led invasion five years ago has passed the 4,000 mark.
The sad thing is that that number is five years of war. In five days of peace 20,000 babies are slain.
Abortion kills as many in a day as a war has killed in five years.

*Sigh* - So heartbreaking! America has become focused on problems and issues while loosing sight of our sin and backsliding. Lord, forgive us and heal our land!
*shakes head* And when you think of the outcry over the one, and not over the other...
Wow... that's a damning statistic.
Also, considering that a death in war, though tragic, is heroic and speaks well of the person who died, while the death of an unborn child has no mourners, no funeral, no honor. It is the death of a person who was never allowed to know life or to leave his or her mark on the world. This destruction is wicked and shameful.
Abortion kills MUCH MORE in a day as a war has killed in five years. -if your statistic is correct. I love you.
:'-(
wow.
that is so sad.
Thank you. *smiles *
The time of refreshing just hasn't come yet.... and I'm tired. I'm sick of the drama that seems to fill my life. I'm deeply scarred and I'll never be the same, and at the same time I just want it all to die down and let me have some peace. I've not been able to find peace in this particular storm.
And the sad thing is... many people know this and still don't care. They keep it quiet and blame it on circumstance. But in no circumstance are people entitled to kill. It all truly hurts, it truly does.
Thank you, my dear, for spreading such truth, though it is so atrocious.... still, people are so negligent to the truth.
