Interests:I like to tinker a lot with many different things ;-) . . . Love being in Principles of Engineering - Mr. Schmidt is an awesome teacher. Love building things, love working on vehicles and diagnosing problems with vehicles. I like to talk to people that are older than me because they are generally more mature than people around my age (did I say generally?) It's also nice to know people that have gone through what I'm going through and understand what it's like - obviously not my parents. Believe it or not, I like to dance - not very good yet, but people tell me I'm a natural. I like to play instruments, played the clarinet all through middle school and I was damn good. my high school doesn't have band. I'm starting to play the sax, don't know any songs but I can play it! I'd love to learn to play the guitar and I want to play the drums. Expertise:I've been told that I'm good at many things. . . I'm not going to tell you what those things are, but I'll tell you that i'm good at many things. I love to use my hands :D. . . I've also been told that I'm good with my mouth, but that's another story. . . and I hope to one day earn my A&P certificate (airframe and powerplant for those of you that didn't know). Occupation:Student Industry:Retail
OK... It's been a while since I've posted anything... been pretty busy I guess you could say... lol. i've been spending most of my time with McKenna. The past 3 days we've gone to see movies. We were going to go to TGI Friday's on Friday... they were entirely too busy and I was hungry... so we ended up going to Fazoli's and a movie instead. That night we saw Click with Adam Sandler. It was decent, Wasn't the best movie I saw. Saturday she woke me up about 11 and we went with her parents to go see Superman Returns. It wasn't playing at a decent time so we ended up going to Cars instead. That was the best of the three that I saw. It was awesome! Sunday we saw Superman Returns. It was okay, it got pretty boring at parts.
It is entirely too early in the morning to be awake simply to go fishing!!! ...O well, I get to be on a boat all day... can't complain too much about that!!
So far I've caught two fish "practicing" this season... First one was about a foot long and weighed in around a pound... I believe it was in the bass family, but not sure. Second one was a blue catfish. Then it caught me!! When I was trying to take out the hook, it twitched and either the hook or a spine stabbed me right between the thumb and index finger. Whatever it was, it got me bleeding. Luckily there was a nice guy there with his family that was able to help me take the hook out and show me a better way to handle the catfish.
Catfishes feel so nasty!! ...They're covered in this slime ~blah~
Another day I didn't ride... just because I didn't really feel the need to get all nasty before I spent several hours in a van... well, of course today was the first day that we actually run into rain... Woke up, had our annual Chris Cakes breakfast... very good pancakes... Drove out to Arma (15 miles away) and sat around and chatted with the people I was with for the last 8 days. Our chicken dinner came around 10:30, everybody ate and we were out by 1!
On the way back to Wichita we ran in to some crazy rain... could barely see through the windshield!! Finally stopped to get some good ice cream (Dairy Queen) in Augusta. Stopped in Wichita for about 20 minutes at Greg's house before we went to help in Newton. Unloaded the Penske's then came back to Wichita around 6...
The end of another... interesting BAK!! Hopefully next year we'll break our new found habit of having an ambulance at the school each night!
