Thanks for all your great feedback on the Recommend feature
. We made a list last week of the recommend features you guys asked for... and Justin and Ayca just added them to the site!
- If lots of your subs recommend the same post, they'll all be grouped together in your Universal Inbox nicely
- We added a "recs" tab to the Inbox to display only recommended posts
The best part of recommend is that it's a great way to find new blogs to subscribe to.
Sometimes it does get a bit overwhelming though, so it's nice to have a tab where you can go just to see rec's.

Sounds good. I was scheptical at first but, found some good entries by following recommendations...the additional features will most definitely make it an even more attractive feature to use. Well done.

I prefer to use the "OLD" private page, rather than the Universal inbox - so where would I find this feature or be able to read the recommended blogs?

Would you also make a "recs" tab to the Subs page to let us only read the recommended posts? Also, I want a link, just like "Your Comment", to see the posts that I have recommended.
On the other hand, I want more tab on the "Public Feed"...even I am not clear myself, but I just feel the "Public Feed" can be more functions...I agree with venice; the old private xanga page was way better.
A feature I would like to see return VERY VERY BADLY is the ability for music players with clickable buttons to work once more on websites. When I returned to my site, I was disparaged to find out that while my MUSIC list worked, the Xanga HTML code no longer supported the buttons you could click to start, pause, or stop the song (should you want to change between them). I'm managing with a new player for now, but it's just not the same.

@venice @explosive - You guys can still use the old private page (it's not going anywhere). To see the Recs, just click on the link on the left that says "Universal Inbox" and you can see them in the "recs" tab...
@maths_king2000 - We'll be adding a module you can add to your page called "Recommendations", that will show all of your recommendations. Hopefully that will do the trick for you! Regarding a Recommendation tab on Subs, it kinda feels to me that a rec is different from a post? We'll let things settle down a bit, and see how they feel.

Brilliant! Though I don't have a lot of friends nor do I subscribe to a lot of people, it still is a handy feature for those who have 100s of friends/subscriptions.
