| | we flew in three days ago. this is a hot country, where driups' family lives. it's quite a curious fact but it's been the first time my and driups' parents finally met. they met only now, after driups' and my five-year-long friendship and three-year-long official marriage. not that we didn't want them to meet. long distances are to blame. so we're all finally here. i've been here before though, with driups. in previous summers. it was yesterday when we got out of the city into a nearby town where a park makes you feel proud just looking at it. in the park, i saw things that i never get to see in the country where driups and i live. if only in the botanic garden. the bamboo trees and magnolia flowers.

and buckets riping on trees.

on our way back home, people were selling buckets of peaches, and figs and nectarines. along the side of the road. mom said she never saw such an amount of peaches all in one place. the fruit were cheap and smelled in the way that makes you feel there still exist real fruit as opposed to the supermarket stuff.
and now, a thanks goes to driups for showing us this country. it's a cool piece of Earth that i like very much. it sometimes behaves odd but it's really cool. i like it a lot.

now. on our last day before flying driups and i learned something new. on that day i felt like a child who has just learned to read the clock, or to play mary had a little lamb without mistakes, or...well whatever it is that makes a child feel overwhelmed by the fact that the world is full of wonder and joy. on that day, driups and i tried 100% lavender oil with peppermint oil against our headaches. it helped. real fast. IT HELPED! and we didn't have to feed on ibumetin 400 only to find out that it either doesn't work or works in a couple of hours, unless it's on an empty stomach. we've taken the oil bottles here with us and cannot but thank you-know-who ;) for the advice! :)))) |
