ITTY BITTY CUTIE

 He's tiny, he's cute, he's...Canadian to boot!

I hate knowing what's going to happen in a sporting contest before it is actually televised.  For me, it dramatically diminishes the purpose of watching; there is no thrill of victory or agony of defeat.  However, though I knew what was to come, I tuned in to the men's long program in figure skating at the Olympics.

I only caught a bit of it, but what I saw was reported nowhere that I had read; Canadian skater Shawn Sawyer's performance was mesmerizing, mostly because of this:


OUCH!

His program was so graceful and his movement so fluid, it almost brought me to tears.  But I'm not that gay...ok, I am.
