WHAT A LONG STRANGE TRIP IT HAS BEEN

Gosh it's been a long time since I've updated this.  My apologies to the three of you who still read my rantings.

I'm now officially in New York City.  Been here for a week and already I have a job...at the Gap.  Well, at least I have a job, and I'll have lots of cute clothes to go along with said job.

The move from LA went (relatively) without incident.  There were some minor exceptions to that, like the fact that UPS has no record of my 30 boxes having been shipped or received.  Nothing major, just all of my worldly possessions.  My car appears to have been sold, finally.  It's all a matter of paperwork now, and if that doesn't work itself out soon, I'm going to lose what's left of my waning patience.

I am SO glad I moved.  I love New York.  Despite the antrax cold that's going around, and the death rattle cough I have had since I visited here over a month ago, I love it here!  I definitely made the right choice.  I wish I had something more intelligent to say, but my blood sugar is plummeting and my brain isn't coming up with anything witty, so I will now depart for lunch, with the promise that I will be back to inform and to entertain
