One thing I love about being back in Los Angeles is having access to screeners.  For those of you who don't know, screeners are sent out, usually around awards season (i.e. now) to people for their consideration of various awards, including, but not limited to, the Academy Awards.  There was much hubub made over screeners this year, but thankfully they got it all sorted out, otherwise I may not have had the chance to watch one of my favorite films of the year, Camp.

Part after school special, part broadway musical, Camp is one of those films with the unique ability to make me feel good about myself - no small feat.

Mark your calendars: February 17, 2004; that's when Camp comes out on DVD and VHS.  Judging my its box office take, most of you have yet to see this film.  I highly recommend that you do so - it's a good thing.
