	Today, whilst catching up with my dear friend Andrea Marcovecci, I wondered aloud, "Why is Jayson Blair's incompetence rewarded, while mine is not?" Is it the black thing? Is it the lying thing? I wish someone would tell me so I can get my book deal and go on Larry King Live!

I'm with you. I could be incompetent on a NY Times salary. I could be incompetent with a book deal. I'd want to avoid Larry King, but maybe The Daily Show could showcase my failures.
