DARK KNIGHT.

Yes, yes, it isn't true opening night, but i enjoyed it.
I first had to see Batman Begins at Becca's, which  was pretty good! But  Dark Knight is FRESH FRESH in my mind, and please do not continue reading if you feel that my reviews, although I would avoid spoilers, will ruin the expericnce for you.

Yes, Heath Ledger was great. People do not lie. I scrutinized that man the entire movie, and did not see any bit of "Heath Ledger" but only THE JOKER.
that's what I call acting. mmmhm.

I had trouble w/ BOTH movies, that, they seemed to NEVER END. i was like OMG i CAN'T believe they're putting in more plot?! the climax was 10 mintues ago!! GAH WHY there better not be a cliffhanger!!!
Thankfully, this is NOT a cliffhanger, in which Pirates 2 PHAILED. I was so scared it was going to be one, cuz the movie felt VERY long. I enjoyed every minute of it.

It was shot wonderfully (i got the sense, tho, in the first one, way too many fast edits in the fight sequences which they improved on in the 2nd, but 2nd used quite a few circle tracks. Those are fun, but ya, if i start noticing them, i kinda want to see a new trick sometimes.)
Sound, music and sound design, is impeccable.
And they had many wonderful moments. Just wonderful. you'll see :)

I LOVE watching blcckbusters. So much.
why?
It's because, esepcially for comic movies that I know backstory of (x-men, batman, etc) i can talk on and ON and ON. hhaha, I love making comments and expressions, and keeping an eye out for little things. Those movies just excite me so well. (even it it's crappy, like Spidey 3.) Especially when they have really cool heroic/prepare for battle scenes.

I loved Dark Knight, and would love to watch another one, but w/ Ledger gone and you just can't have a more epic Batman-villan than Joker, most of us consented that a 3rd would not go well. Nolan will have to pull more magic outta his a** to complete a trilogy (and, not everything needs a trilogy. geez.)
