Continued from last entry...
So, then my dad called to find out when I was coming home. While I was on the phone something else happened, but I really can't remember what it was! Then on Aledo farmer road, I hit a vulture!! And I went to bed at 8:45.
That's my crazy adventure post for now... I'll get a serious one up pretty soon. There's been a lot on my mind recently.
[--EDIT--] Susan's got it... it was some guy running across I-20 talking on a cell phone. [/--EDIT--] -

Bad Day
By Daniel Powter
see relatedCrazy mixed up day...
Well... after the long weekend of mostly work projects around the house, and a few parties. . . it was back to work for another week - although only a 4-day work-week! I got up yesterday morning after dreaming that my alarm didn't go off... (It never did) It was 5 til 7, and I had to leave for work at least by 7:15. I quickly dressed, skipped breakfast, skipped COFFEE
, and headed off. I did not know what was in store for me that day. Work went fairly well up until it started raining... and of course I'd be out traveling somewhere. Finished working up in Coppell at 4:30 but didn't make it back downtown until 6! On my way home, someone decides to tailgate me until I move over, then speed past me, cut me off and slam on the brakes! Man, I burnt some rubber to avoid a collision. For what reason they did that, I still don't know!
This story will be continued... (It's 8:00, I have to work)

Job Update
Hey whoever reads this... I went up to Blepo today to discuss future work with them. It went really well, I got to spend the day with one of the guys out on a call moving workstations. I'm going to be starting next week, working part-time 3 days a week. (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) This was a huge answer to prayer and I'm excited about it!

'nother update
I left yesterday morning at 5:30 for a 3 day job with Blepo out in Mt. Pleasant. I got back this morning at 2am. We got out there at about 9 and started running network cables. We ran probably somewhere around 8 - 9,000 ft. A lot of it was run through a ceiling that was insulated with fiberglass. So I was pretty much covered with fiberglass shards at the end of the day. It was a great experience - we worked for about 13 hrs.
Anyway. . . that's my update for now.
