    Wow do I love those lyrics. That song brings back memories. Kinda funny to see where I'm at now in comparison to where I was when I last heard it. Kinda crazy.

    I've come to realize at this point in my life that more and more often I try to shut people out. Without even actually trying. It is only now that I realize it is because I am afraid to invest happiness in others, for fear of being hurt (more...or again, should I say) and having to go through what I've endured in the past. It's a blatant avoidance behaviour, like a psyhological, emotional defense, to protect myself against the pains of life, the things that have scarred me so deep.

    And as hard as it is, and as much as I know it isn't the healthiest way to live, I can't help it.

    So don't try to tell me otherwise. I already know.

    That's the worst part.

    'Glam'?! This is not glamorous. It's called photo editing and surgical body alteration. I have no problem with beautiful women. But this is NOT beauty. We really need to re-think our standards in this society if this is what we perceive as attractive.
