detroit sports!
Things are looking up for Detroit sports!
The Wings just swept the Avalanche by winning 8-2 on the road to advance to the Western Conference finals.
The Pistons closed out the 76ers with a 100-77 rout to reach the Eastern Conference semi finals.
The Tigers are only 1.5 games back from the White Sox in the AL Central after starting 0 for 6.
Thankfully the Lions aren't playing.

Man, I haven't been to Detroit since I was a kid. I was raised there!
No wonder I'm so cranky.
@Drakonskyr - cool, how long were you there for? in the city?
@Drakonskyr - also, that probably means you laugh in people's faces like I did when they tell you how bad it is in the Tenderloin in SF.
@vikas - Yeah, seriously, I'm like, a bad neighborhood? I hear one gunshot a night here, that's like a lullaby. Nah, I kid. The Tenderloin is really more full of insane people than anything else. And really angry homeless.
I was there from around when I was three until I was twelve or so.
