It's cool to see you have Showbread and He Is Legend in your playlist. Most people I talk to about music don't know of either of those bands. I've seen both of them live, and met their band members as well. Showbread's show was insane because they have so many people in their live show, and they were on a small stage, so they were all trying to jump around and go crazy in a little space. I almost got whipped in the face with the mic cord when Josh swung his mic around. I saw He Is Legend in Wilmington, NC at another small venue called The Soapbox Laundro-Lounge (a mixture of a laundromat and lounge). Man was that a great show. They have such a good stage presence, and they were just crazy. While moshing, I got pushed into one of the huge 6 ft subwoofers, right as they hit a huge bass note. I thought my head was going to explode.... lol. The only thing I didn't like at that show was that someone climbed up on one of the stacks of speakers and shook a whole 24oz. can of beer on the crowd. It's just not cool when you are all sticky with beer on the 2 hour ride home.
I like your playlist. I have almost all of those bands on my PC too. It's hard to find one good playlist when your iPod has 20+ gigs of music on it. So many choices of good music. I'm going to list my playlist when I get off work today, so maybe you'll see some of the stuff I listen to lately.
@respawn87 - I've seen Showbread live two or three times, but I've never seen He Is Legend. I wasn't able to make the show the day they were here. Showbread's song "Matthias Replaces Judas" is one of my most favorite songs, and my parents love it, too. I'm hitting up Sonshine Festival this weekend. It's gonna be SWEET. As I Lay Dying, Haste The Day, Flyleaf, Red, Skillet, Newsboys, Project 86....the list goes on. The Christian concert venue here in Minneapolis doesn't own their building, and as part of their lease agreement they can't allow moshing. It really sucks. Doesn't keep me away though, that's for sure.
scrotal torture and 56k haha!!!!! this list is pretty cool.
@LeadMyWay - (Torment*) "I hook up to tha intanet, with ma 56kaaaaaaay modem speed and I, meet all ma peeps on the world wide web, that's where they be." :) Good stuff. A real treat!
@vwagenjetta - That does sound awesome man. All those great bands in one area. I hope you get to at least meet some of the band members from various bands. I have a friend who played in a band that opened for Flyleaf last year, and he said that they are pretty cool people. I know you'll have fun, even though there won't be any moshing. I was at one of the Cornerstone events, which took place in a baseball stadium, and they told us we couldn't mosh at the main stage, so we all decided to do slow-motion moshing during some of the songs. That way the security gaurds didn't get all pissed at us. Haha. And instead of crowd surfing we just hoisted random items into the air and sent them up to the stage. It was all good fun, but I love to mosh.
