| | Well, I got a letter from Alice on Wednesday, and I don't get to go
back to Gnaw Bone this summer. It's so strange for me- I've been
going to Gnaw Bone for seven summers. I barely remember summers
before then. GBC is like a second home to me. But,
amazingly, I'm quite at peace with it. I asked God to make me
comfortable with it, and I guess it's just one of those steps in
trusting His plan for my life.
So now my summer is uncertain, no more than before I guess, but now I know it's
uncertain. There are several possibilities- I might go to a
Christian camp in Colorado, but that's not at all for certain, because
it's rather expensive and Chris would be going too, or I might go to
the Dominican Republic with my church. Mom is limiting me to one
trip this summer. I may also go back to swimming. So,
please pray that we would make the right decisions. =)
I got tagged by Annamarie (amorphousaeb), so here are 5 random habits/things about me:
- I don't drink carbonation- haven't for 3 1/2 years. Usually
I drink lemonade or gatorade or water or something else instead.
But I think that's going to have to change in Thailand.
- Before a run, I tie my shoes several times before they are the *perfect* tightness and there are no wrinkles in my socks.
- I randomly throw words or phrases from a foreign languages into
my sentences- or sentences in a foreign language into my conversation-
I'm slowly training my family in understanding basic spanish. ;p
- Except for at meals, I always drink my water out of water
bottles- preferably nalgenes. It tasts better that way.
There is almost always a nalgene water bottle on my desk.
- I countdown to everything I'm anticipating. Usually it's in
my head, but when it's a big event, like a trip, my family will
definitely hear. And so will you.
