Well as promised, I am posting sooner than the interval that I had been posting.
I am going in today to get my first shot today in my knee. I have to say that I am a bit concerned. I just know the needle will be huge. I just hope that it doesn't hurt too much. My knee has been killing me the last few days. I have had to take my pain pill the last week.
Obama was here in CO Springs yesterday. He gave an invitation only speech at the campus. I am hearing this morning that the speech was invitation only - to military members, families, peace corp and americorp members. Well...lets see I do believe I am a military members family member but I didn't get invited. But that is ok...I honestly am disgusted with what he had to say - it is the same thing that every other candidate for the past 2 election has said!
What was really odd though was as I was going to the gym here on the academy I saw a police car with its lights on but not going fast. Then as I came upon the intersection they (the cops) had it blocked off and along came more of the motorcade then big black SUV with none other than Obama in it waving at the cars that his motorcade was blocking! So strange! Nothing in the media that he wasgoing t be here on base - on Peterson but not the academy!
Oh well - Dog s barking at me wanting me to play. And I have to go to work - to sit and do nothing yet again!

So sorry to hear about your knee, TJ. Do they know what is wrong with it???
Obama was here too a few months ago. Motorcade came blasting down the highway near where we live. I was just leaving town as the cops pulled onto the ramp to block ttraffic so his vehicle could come by.
I didn't get to see him. But later on heard that it was him.
I dont' care for him, one bit.
I haven't had the shots in my knee, but I have in heel and shoulder. Not fun, but worth it in the end.
