So, last night roommate is here and last night before my last final, figures that I cannot go to sleep and being kept up as usual...what a way to end sophomore year, I'll be glad when it's all over

4:16am...I am now playing Toxic by Britney Spears to see if my roomie will get the hint that I wanna sleep....maybe if I let him read this

SLEEEEEEEP!

Two finals, mucho packing, then flying home on Saturday...gonna be a busy week.  Started reviewing my 130 page outline for Congress today - damn its hard to concentrate - should've gone to the library or something.  This class requires way too much work and effort to succeed - but I guess I can't have all classes that are challenging but not over-the-top.

On a different note...I realize how much I hate talking about people behind their backs b/c one day it'll happen to you and you won't like it much...yeah that happened today as I was about to go see what everyone else in the suite was up to....walk through the bathroom, hand on the door, turning handle..."blah blah Ken blah blah loser blah blah Ken"...turning around and pretending not to have heard anything although I'm still trying to decide whether I could have legitimately stood there behind the door listening to a conversation about me....

I've become increasingly more aware of my surroundings - not just physical objects but also people's feelings and thoughts - it's like, I can read a person now just by the slightest action, the slightest twitch of their hands, the look in their eyes, or the raising of an eyebrow - it's kind of weird actually and I don't know if I like it

Potato chips, potato chips, munch munch munch...who's the best gameshow of the bunch? GOOOOOO BOB!

One of many entertaining cheers today as we waited at the CBS studio in LA to be part of the Price is Right hosted by Bob Parker...waking up at 730, two hour drive only to wait in line from 930am to 2 pm...all the while yelling, cheering, chanting at the top of our lungs...we even had t-shirts "Claremont Mckenna Students <3 Bob"....probably the most fun I've had all year though..the anticipation, the camaraderie, meeting new people who very much enjoyed our enthusiasm all afternoon and sometimes even joined in with us...to say the least we were a very high spirited group today

Finally at 2:30pm, we were let in the studio and into the audience seats....spectacular!!!  Courtney got chosen as the first one to go up and she kicked ass! Won about $5000 worth of stuff!!! And getting to see Bob live was friggin awesome, he is the man! Today was the worst showcase ever though...some petite asian woman got onto it and bid $70,000, let me repeat $70,000 for a trip to Disney World and a Pontiac Convertible....$70,000...good lord, if she had bid $1 she would've won as the other person went over as well.  But that's the way the game works!!!  So worth the 5 hours sitting in a car with no A/C :o).  Next year, Jay Leno and definitely Price is Right again!!!!

Now, passing out from sheer exhaustion and then having to get up to play guitar and sing for people at the Motley...whoopeee
