I did it. I bought 4 skeins of Lorna's Laces Lion and lamb. My friend Margaret thought that Tuscany would be better...it will when I make it. BUT I couldn't resist. I HAD to buy the Flame. It's so bright and cheery and just plain "take my breath away" gorgeous. I hope it's as pretty in real life as the pictures. I'll use Lorna's Laces Angel "Multi" for the Tuscany I think. I'ts about HALF the cost of the other. There's some incredible colors. I adore Gold Hill too, and River. The names are too fun. I also have a luscious pink, brown and gray yarn that I got for 50% off when our Mercantile closed out their knitting supplies-it's Lana Gatto Maderia which is 57% wool and 43% acrylic. It's SO SO SO soft and gorgeous. I have 832 yards of it, so that SHOULD be enough to do the clapotis in it also. Some very yummy scarves I think!

Off to try to do 2 more squares of the FPS....I think I am going to average about 1 to 2 diamonds a day. That means about 3 months to finish it. Not bad. But it's a project that definitely has to wait until the children are settled to something other than MOM. And that usually means bedtime. Sigh. But it will make it well worth it to see it done.
