Edit: Frogging in this sense means to undo the work. take it all out. I'm not sure why they call it that.........I'm pulling out all the work I've done over the last 4 weeks(SOB SOB SOB! Crying 1

And....................................................

we have a frog in the house. Sigh. After much debate, much "hand-bloocking" and turning the head from side to side, sighing, debating some more, cringing, almost crying, forest path stole in maple leaf shimmer has been frogged in favor of the following yarn which I just ordered:

campfire

It's called Campfire Heather. We debated over Sunset or this. My daughter thinks that the Campfire will be more dramatic on Mom. Sigh.

So whilst I wait, I'll finish "Branching Out", and see how many rows I can make it on the "Hanging Vines" stole I started for my niece for her wedding. I made about 10 rows yesterday with no problems. Well, okay a few distratcions and I know there's some mistakes in there, but I can't find them. It's turning out gorgeous as it is.

Is it possible you could define the term "frogged"? I'm tempted to think, from the way you're using it, that it means "jumping over".....as if you're "jumping over" the Maple Leaf Shimmer in favor of Campfire Heather. But then the dictionary tells me "frog" (in ADDITION to a "leaping, web-footed animal", Lol) ALSO can mean a "braided loop", which sounds like a KNITTING term. If it's easier for you to keep it so just Knitters understand, that's fine....but I just thought I'd ask you to clarify if you care to......

Oh, dear one!!!! Don't despair, though......it's a LEARNING EXPERIENCE. Don't be discouraged!!!!! Thank you for the edit, now I can sympathize with you BETTER.......

Hugs and Lots of Love,

I'm sorry,  it's so hard to dismantle something you have worked so hard on.  But the new yarn is beautiful, and I think it will do the pattern more justice.  The other yarn was very pretty as well, but the more subtle color changes might show off all the hard work on the patterns a little better.  Good luck starting over!
