On the Move. Again.

Just a quick update on my plans for the coming few weeks. So I received a super short notice from the company last week to be relocated to Penang, Malaysia and will probably stay there for at least 1-2 years. The tentative moving date is on the weekend of 3 Oct.

Things have been moving very quickly and I am still wrestling to see what God's perfect purpose for me is. Maybe God thinks things have been a little too comfortable for me in Hong Kong in the past year and it's time to shake things up in me again. For those who are in Hong Kong -  it would probably be difficult to meet up before I head off but if you happen to be in Malaysia for meetings/vacation please let me know! =)

Birthday

It is a Saturday afternoon and I have set aside some time to go through every single birthday gift and message I received this year. As I was reading through all these messages, it amazed me by how God has placed all these awesome friends in my life to make me a better man - be it my good old friends, friends from SPCC, friends from college, friends from NYC/SEL, friends from work, friends that I was once really close to, new friends that I have known in the past year or all these friends I have met in random occasions etc.

It is very challenging for me to keep closely in touch with all my friends but on my birthday every year it is the perfect time to reflect on how much impact my friends have made in my life. Life is like a subway train with friends getting on and off the train at different stations, even though you might not get to see this friend ever again in your life, what it matters is the friend walking through that period of your life together with you.

I would like to thank you for being my friends. I appreciate the friendships from all of you who never give up on me even I have been moving around and I suck at keeping in touch with people. Once again, thank you for all the gifts, cards, messages for my birthday! =)

P.S. Just a little update for those who don't know, I have moved back to Hong Kong for a new position within the company 2 weeks ago. It has been a very fruitful year in Seoul and I am extremely grateful for the people I have met and things I have learned/experienced in the past year. God is good.

Embracing the City of Seoul:

Being inspired by new friends from different walks of life and experiencing how God is at work in this land.

Seoul has so much to offer. Enough said.

final

Call me boring but I didn't bring my camera to Korea...

Need to steal all these from others when I got complained for not taking pictures!
